Ladies! Gentlemen! We are excited to announce our next performance will be on SATURDAY, APRIL 30th, 7pm at ROCKWOOD MUSIC HALL, STAGE 2! BUT! We have something to show you…
This photo was taken from our latest gig at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. We had the opportunity to perform for the esteemed Bob Kerrey, and his wife Sarah Paley, in a celebration of his tenure as President of The New School. (Our alma mater!) Our band was asked to perform, and the evening also featured performances by the lovely Abigail Washburn, and The Steve Martin.
It was a gorgeous evening in a spectacular New York City landmark. We were thrilled, honored, and delighted to perform for such remarkable people. Thank you to Bob and Sarah for including “Erin and her Cello” in their celebration of The New School. We wish them joy in their adventures to come!
And to Mr. Martin– WE LOVE KING TUT! … almost as much as we love The Great Remember. :)
So! For those of you who could not attend our “Met Debut”…come check us out SATURDAY, APRIL 30th, 7pm at Rockwood Music Hall, Stage 2!
FREE! FUN! & FANCY!

Hello! Happy Humid NYC Heat!?!
In case you were unable to attend our show at the 54/10 Music Marathon at Ars Nova in July, we have some SWEET photos to show you what you missed…not to mention a great write up!
From One Louder Photo.com: (To view the original article & photographs, please click here.)
”If you’ve never heard Erin and Her Cello, you’re missing out on some of the funniest stuff out there. Seriously, I almost spit my beer out of my nose and onto my camera – twice. The thing that makes Erin’s show ridiculously entertaining isn’t her backup singers/dancers, her songs about Duane Reade counter clerks with grotesquely long fingernails, or her perfectly delivered stage banter, it’s that all of the above combine to give you some sort of lovably twisted Mr. Rogers-style children’s show where Mr. Rogers unzips his face and turns into a cute curly-haired cello player who swills wine on stage and embarrasses the children in the audience during commercial breaks…Be sure to check Erin out…”
